AW, HE FELL ASLEEP WAITING FOR ME TO GET OUT OF THE BATH!
ANYONE SEE ANYTHING INTERESTING ABOUT THIS SHADOW MY PURSE IS MAKING?!
SOME PEOPLE ARE REALLY CRAFTY AND HAVE CRAFT BLOGS - I'M THINKING THAT WON'T EVER BE ME AND SINCE I CAN'T DISPLAY MY SINGING AND DANCING TALENTS ON MY BLOG (AT LEAST NOT VERY OFTEN) I CAN PUT MY ARTISTRY IN HAIR STYLES ON IT, RIGHT?!
MY KIDS ARE PRETTY DARN CREATIVE - AUDREY'S SO NATURALLY CRAFTY (FROM HER GRANDMA HANSEN, NOT ME!) SHE HAD THIS IDEA TO MAKE A DRESS AND SUITS FOR THE BOYS OUT OF PLASTIC BAGS!
HERE SHE IS DOING A CURTSY...IN HER PLASTIC BAG EVENING GOWN.
SIR KADEN DOING A BOW LIKE THE PRINCE HE IS!
HERE'S KYLE DOING SOMETHING...NOT QUITE SURE BUT HE LOOKS HANDSOME DOING IT!
We had a Neighborhood Halloween Party - in the way of decorating cookies and...
This is our sweet neighbor Aeva.
The group pictures of all the kids didn't want to post unless they were sideways. :(
This is at our Ward Trick-or-Treat and Dinner that night.
Note: Since there were no masks allowed, Kevin painted Kyle's face free-hand. Wow.
This is Kyle and one of his best friends, Sadie. She is in his Primary class at church and they're in the same Kindergarten class too. They are inseparable. Always playing together and sitting next to each other on the bus.
Here they are sharing candy!
And here we have one frog, one "Bumblebee" Transformer and one kitty cat!
Here's what we looked like 12 years ago. (Oh wait, we looked a lot younger, but...)
Audrey Elizabeth Hansen was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!
In her bedroom with her dress on.
In the Family Room.
In the Living Room.
Note: the day she saw her dress she knew it was the one. It was love at first sight.
At the church.
All of us - Ky was playing peek-a-boo with the camera.
All of her family that could come.
Note: Great Grandma Walton was going to come but she was sick. Also, Aunt Mindy and cousin Mike were planning on coming...until Mikey started throwing up that morning!
Audrey with us and the Andersons -Pops and Grandma Bonnie.
Audrey with us and the Hansens - Great Grandma Hansen, Pops Larry, Grandma Susan, Aunt Melanie and Uncle Steven.
4 generation picture!
Me and "my doll." I am so proud of her decision.
The 3 girls from the ward that were baptized that day...
Celia, Audrey and Nicole. All so beautiful and glowing!
* it was a Stake Baptism and 10 children were baptized that day! WOW!!!
Audrey and her handsome daddy who baptized her.
So of course there were no pictures and video of the ordinance itself but I can tell you
This girl has such a cute personality...she was giggling before and after Kev immersed her. She was just so excited and happy!
Also, it was so cute that afterwards in the bathroom when all the 3 girls were changing into their dresses they were giddy saying things like "that was awesome" to each other and you could tell they were on cloud 9!
Dixie's Diner afterwards hit the spot.
Great Grandma, Audrey and her dad doing "the Hansen" - a special face that's been a tradition to pull whenever possible - for as long as Kevin can remember.
The day after the baptism before church.
*Audrey chose to recite the 13th Article of Faith in front of the congregation when the Bishop introduced her as a new member. She did great! Then she was the first one to bear their testimony for fast and testimony meeting that day. :)
She is my little model.
I was on a spiritual high for a week afterwards. What a wonderful day!!!
I'm a S.A.H.M. of 3 beautiful children. I love going on dates with my hubby/best friend, vacations and trips with my family, hanging with girlfriends, teaching children (mine or anyone elses), singing, dancing, acting, and trying to do things that don't come naturally to me like cooking, baking, and being "crafty!" I can be a real bookworm sometimes but I'm also spontaneous by nature and love to have FUN! I love making memories and capturing them in a photo!
Kevin and Annette met at Kev's mission report! It was love at first sight! We were engaged within 1 month and married in the Salt Lake temple 5 months later! We now have 3 children: They are 9, 6 and 4!This is an online journal mostly written by Nettie of our busy lives!
