Where was Kaden you might ask? He was too sick to move! Poor guy! But Kyle was kind enough to read to him!

Kaden is the happiest kid! Even when he was so sick that he ended up in the hospital, his Spirits were high!

During Sacrament meeting at church one day I noticed that Kaden was getting warmer and warmer. Near the end I noticed a RASH on his face! Needless to say, we went home early!

He also had a RASH all over his arms and legs! He had it for a couple of days and then it went away! He is usually very healthy so I guess March was his month to get a few bugs!

My neighbor and WONDERFUL friend Robyn and me...being silly!!! We love to have fun. We make sure to go on a Girls Night Out at least once a month with each other and many other great ladies in our church ward!

Tamara and Curtis' Birthday party was a blast! We ate, played games, ate and played more games!

More March to come because I will dedicate a whole post to our Spring Break trip to St. George, UT!

...pictures from December and January! It seems so long ago - I guess because we've been so busy non-stop!

Ward Christmas party! That night we told Audrey the Santa "secret." She was a little sad at first but then she got REALLY excited when we told her she could help us!

This was the first year Kyle didn't hesitate!

Gotta get a picture of Ky with his best friend Sadie - we all love her and her family!

Kaden enjoyed this...just now when I was uploading this picture he yelled "Me and Santa!" "Mom, I want a copy of that picture to hang in my room!!"

I got invited to a Temple picture-making party! I made this - with help, but I did most of it myself! When I got home Kevin loved it and went right to Home Depot to get what he needed to hang it! It was hanging on our wall within an hour!

Audrey had her first piano recital! She took piano lessons last year and had a great teacher but she never did any recitals. This year she takes from my amazingly talented neighbor and friend and she had the recital at the Piano Gallery!

It was so special for the students to be able to play on the gorgeous grand piano that retailed for $75,000!

Of course Audrey wasn't nervous and did great! She loves playing the piano, practicing and learning the songs Robyn teaches her, figuring out songs she's familiar with on her own by ear, or sometimes making up her own!

This is one of the 16 crafts I made at our ward's "Super Saturday." I gave it to my brother and sister-in-law for Christmas.

This is me and two of my (many) new friend's in our Church ward. Another friend came late but refused a new picture with her in it. I am just loving all the wonderful women I'm becoming friends with here in the neighborhood and ward!

This is Audrey at the school Christmas program. She did great! She was one of the few kids with a speaking part and of course she nailed it! She was having fun dancing along to the songs with some friends and I got compliments from other parents like I always do that she is a joy to watch. BTW, you might wonder what's going on with her right eye...she had just gotten pink eye that night!

It is such a fun dance!

She's improved so much at hip hop. She's always been such a natural at ballet and awesome at jazz but last year was her first year ever doing hip hop and she was trying to figure out being so lose and "chunky" as they call it. Don't get me wrong, she was great - she had still made the competing team which is very hard to make...

...but this year she's really getting all the moves all the way!

Audrey had her own fan club at her winter dance recital this year - Kev and I, Kyle and Kaden, 3 out of 4 grandparents, Aunt Melanie, Aunt Kellie, Uncle Paul, Ian, Isaac and Mercedes (visiting from AZ) Uncle Eric and Sage (visiting from SLC!)

We (along with my mom and dad) went to Red Robin with Eric and Sage afterwards because they were leaving the next day.

Wow! There's a lot of similarities there, if I do say so!

Kev's family's friend got re-married (her husband died many years ago) and we went to the wedding reception where we all cut a rug...here's Audrey and Kevin ballroom dancing. She loves getting swung around!

After that we had a game night and a movie at our house with Kev's sisters and a a friend! The movie ended at around 4am!

The first Sunday in January all my kids went to Primary together! Here they are with their new CTR rings - Audrey's is the one she got for her Baptism and the boys have on the ones from Primary they received there!

I DON'T THINK I EVER THOUGHT I'D MARRY AN IDAHO BOY AND END UP LIVING SO CLOSE TO IT LIKE I DO NOW!!!

TEN YEARS AGO...

...I WAS LIVING WITH MY PARENTS IN IDAHO FALLS, ID. I HAD EARNED MY ASSOCIATES IN EDUCATION AT RICKS COLLEGE, WENT TO BYU IN PROVO FOR A SUMMER SEMESTER, AND WAS GOING TO WORK FOR A YEAR TO EARN MONEY TO GO BACK TO FINISH MY BACHELORS.

...I WAS WORKING AT A DAYCARE AND WAS IN LOVE WITH ALL THE ADORABLE LITTLE CHILDREN I GOT TO TEACH AND NURTURE EVERYDAY.

...I WAS ATTENDING A SINGLES WARD IN I.F. AND WAS SPENDING A LOT OF TIME WITH A GUY FRIEND NAMED ROB.

...I WAS ASKED BY MY FRIEND ROB IF I'D LIKE TO GO TO HIS FRIEND'S MISSION HOMECOMING REPORT DOWN IN SOME SMALL TOWN CALLED SHELLEY 15 MILES SOUTH OF ME.

...I SAID "YES" I'D LIKE TO GO WHEN ROB SAID THIS FRIEND OF HIS COULD SING, DANCE, ACT, WAS SPIRITUAL AND HANDSOME.

...I WENT DOWN WITH ROB AND WE WERE LATE ENOUGH THAT WE HAD TO SIT IN THE FRONT ROW...WHILE KEVIN WAS TALKING I WAS LOOKING AT HIM THINKING AND FEELING LIKE I WAS HAVING DEJA VOUS. IT WAS STRANGE BUT I LIKED IT.

...AFTER THE MEETING, ROB AND I ENDED UP AT SHELLEY HIGH WHERE THERE WAS A LUNCHEON FOR KEVIN, HIS FAMILY AND HIS FRIENDS WHO CAME TO SUPPORT HIM. ALTHOUGH I HARDLY TALKED TO KEVIN THAT DAY, I DID TALK TO HIS LITTLE SISTER FOR AWHILE WHERE, AGAIN - THERE WAS SOMETHING FAMILIAR WITH IT ALL!

...I WATCHED KEVIN PLAY WITH HIS YOUNGER COUSINS AND THOUGHT "THIS GUY IS SO GOOD WITH KIDS" WOW!!!

Since it's Valentine's Day I thought I would post our pictures we had done back in November!

After all, my little family consists of my main sweethearts in life!!

Audrey, Audge, Doll, Doll face, Sweetheart: watch out world - here she comes! She is super smart - she skipped first grade and is still the top of her class, a straight A student and in the Gifted and Talented Program. Also, she is very responsible. She helps me around the house and with the boys every day. She loves to help and does it all the time without asking. She's an amazing singer and dancer and works very hard on the competing team at Infinity Dance Studio with her ballet, jazz, hip hop and tumbling! She's been on the stage since she was 2 and never had a moment where she ever had any fear about it! This past spring she was able to participate in the Sounds Choir Musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and was such a natural at every aspect of it all! In addition to all of this, she takes piano lessons and loves to practice and go to her lessons! She had her first recital this past December and did great! Don't ask me how but she still finds time to read a ton of books every week and sometimes big books like the Harry Potter series! Audrey loves to write stories, songs (she writes the words, accompinament and melody) and she loves make things - she is so crafty it makes me sick because I do NOT have an inch of that! Audrey loves to swim and really improved this past summer. She was scared to go off the diving board the last day of her lessons but a couple of weeks later she overcame the fear at my friend's parent's pool and I was so proud! Audrey is so happy and has to much FUN in life! Every single new thing out there to experience she loves and embraces - even things like getting xrays or going to the dentist! She's never had a shy day in her life and loves to make friends! She is a lovely little girl who tries to do right. She has an old soul and is kind to all!!

Kyle, Ky, Ky Guy, Bud, Buddy: will he be super sweet or super sour - we never know! Kyle is very smart. He is at the top of his class and does not have any problems with anything Kindergarten has thrown him academically. He has been reading since he was 4 years old and reads btw a 1st-2nd grade level. He is probably at a 1st grade level for math because he's above any math he does at school - he has always loved numbers and starting counting at age 2. Kyle is very gifted on the computer and loves his computer time every day! Kyle has come leaps and bounds socially this year! Kyle is a very sensitive soul. He is so tender hearted that everything effects him more. Certain sights, sounds, touch, taste, and new things in general can be a real challenge for him! I honestly didn't know what was going to happen when he started school but he blew us all away with how well he transitioned! Kyle has improved so much in the past couple of years in so many ways but when change comes along in his life he still struggles...sometimes more than others and every now and then he surprises us and doesn't have an issue at all. Kyle is so great because he is the child that teaches us patience the most. Also, he is the child that is very effected by not getting enough attention so without him, we wouldn't realize when we are not up to par in making sure we give the kids real quality time! Kyle is the child that needs mom the most and sometimes this if frustrating but in the end I am thankful for it! He is also the one who notices things more telling me "Mom, you're beautiful" the most out of anyone in the house. He is always making me something or doing something sweet for me every day. Kyle is a great singer and dancer and he is amazing at gymnastics. He's fast and strong and this past summer he learned how to swim on his own. He is the most brave of our 3 kids in the water! This past fall he tried soccer and football and did great! Kyle is a sweet little guy who loves his friends and family with all his heart! He's so shy that people he's known for years wonder if he likes them because a lot of the time he won't talk to them but we all know how much he loves them! When Kyle chooses the right he glows and there's nothing like the way his face looks when he knows it!

Kaden, Kade, Kade Boy, Babe, Baby: what can I say about this little guy?! And I do mean little - Kaden is all of 28 lbs at 3 1/2 years old and very short but he is ALL personality. Personality plus would be an appropriate term. Kaden is a very funny little boy and has always had us laughing - his whole life. In fact, the day he was born he had everyone in stitches because he had somehow fooled the OBGYN into thinking he was 100% girl when we had the ultrasound but when he came out and I said "There she is!" Kevin had to reply "NO, there HE is!" And he was

ALL boy so we don't really understand how he did the trick in the first place, if you know what I mean! Kaden is such a joy to us. He is happy all day unless he's REALLY hungry or tired. He goes through life in a cool kind of way, he's very easy-going. He doesn't mind new experiences and/or new people! He was an early talker and loves to chat it up with anyone that will listen. He's a great singer, dancer, gymnast, break dancer, and has always been a real natural with sports. He may be small but he is very athletic, strong and fast - in fact ball was one of his first words. He loved participating in soccer and football this past fall and did awesome - even though he was the one of the youngest and the smallest! Kaden is a great eater. He eats anything and everything - including lemons and jalepeno peppers! Kaden loves his mom and dad and loves to cuddle, snuggle and to be scratched and sometimes even scratches mommy back! He has a killer smile and the most wonderful expressions. Kaden is the clown of our family always doing or saying something to make us burst out in laughter! He is a nice little boy who makes people smile everyday!

Me - well all I can say about myself is now that I'm 30 and I REALLY know who I am, I can honestly say that I love myself. Even if there are people out there who don't love or even like me, it's o.k. I know that I'm a good person and I know there are people out there who know that too!

Kevin, Kev, Kevypooh, Honey, Babe: oh my goodness I can't imagine life without this wonderful man! He is truly my one true love, my soulmate, my EVERYTHING! Kevin is everything I ever needed! I always knew I would need to marry a return missionary who was spiritual, honored the Priesthood and loved the Gospel who could, sing, dance, act and be handsome too! Well imagine my luck when I ended up going to Kevin's mission report with a friend and there was my Prince Charming who was and could do all of those things! There are so many other things that I didn't even know I needed in addition to all of that, too! Kevin can also play the trumpet and piano, he is a true handyman and can fix or build anything (we've never had to hire anyone for anything around the house and he built 2/3 of the house we are living in now.) Kevin is one the most patient people I know, he's calm, and isn't very opinionated about many things (except politics of course!) Kevin is so loving and kind to all and is a true "people person." He loves people and most people love him back because he's so nice and genuine! Kevin is such a hard worker and has a lot of determination. He can do anything he sets his mind to. Kevin also is very talented at writing poems and has written many beautiful ones to me. Kevin is very artisitc - he can draw well and can create so many wonderful things on the computer! Kevin can remember anything! He can tell me what happened in a movie he saw once...15 YEARS AG0!!! Kevin is very talented in Marketing and comes up with the most amazing ideas in his career to help people! I love "MY KEVY" so much and am so lucky that he loves me back and treats me like a Queen every day!!!

Kyle went to school yesterday with

all of his teeth and came home with

one gone.

It feel out at school and not only did he

"lose" his tooth but he "lost" it too!

It fell on the floor and apparantly all of his friends and he were looking on the ground for it but

no luck!

It had been really loose for 11 days
and I was wondering when it would come out!

Kev kept trying to pull it

but Ky wouldn't have that!

Excuse the pjs...it was a very busy day so i didn't have time to take the picture until bedtime.

I asked him where he wanted

to take the picture and he said

"in front of the door because that's where I was when you first saw it...coming in the door from getting off the bus!"

What a Great Brother!

I am feeling overwhelmed with the love my children have for each other.

No they don't always get along, but they do most of the time.

It really warms my heart that they are all very good friends with each other and enjoy playing together every day.

Audrey and Kyle are very close as well as Kyle and Kaden.

I just love them so much and find such joy to see how sweet they are to each other.

I'M VERY THANKFUL FOR MOMENTS LIKE THIS ONE...

Audrey Elizabeth Hansen was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

Also, it was so cute that afterwards in the bathroom when all the 3 girls were changing into their dresses they were giddy saying things like "that was awesome" to each other and you could tell they were on cloud 9!

*Audrey chose to recite the 13th Article of Faith in front of the congregation when the Bishop introduced her as a new member. She did great! Then she was the first one to bear their testimony for fast and testimony meeting that day. :)

...Has Always Been 8! Eight is Great!!!

Audrey is 8 and it has been such a wonderful 8 years with her. She is such a beautiful daughter on the inside and on the out. I can't imagine my life without my "doll." She brightens my life every day!

A: Always happy and excited about everything in life. Every new person place or thing - you name it she is so ready and willing and stoked. She has never even had a problem with certain things some kids might be weary about - dentists, doctors, x-rays, blood tests, wearing a back brace, wearing a space maintainer in her mouth, wearing glasses - they were all a fun and new experience.

U: Understanding. She is very understanding about anything. She is not the type to be let down about disappointments for long. For instance: choosing btw. going to a school barbecue and movie night, a church ward party or her Great Grandpa's viewing the night of her b-day. She choose the viewing whole-heartedly. Then there were tryouts for parts in her dance studio's spring ballet the day of the funeral. I was going to take her to the tryouts after the funeral during the burial and then we'd go to the luncheon afterwards. But, as soon as the funeral was over she said "I don't want to tryout anymore, I want to go to the burial!"

D: Daring. She has been on stage since she was 2 years old - singing, dancing and acting - and she has never been nervous or scared once. She is a born star and one of her biggest dreams is to be on Disney Channel someday. Also she talks to anybody and everybody about anything anytime - always has. This girl has never had a shy day.

R: Really good at so many different things. School, dancing, making friends, art, singing, crafting, acting, remembering facts, dates or memories, making friends and being a true friend, being kind to everyone, and loving and being good with all animals.

E: Energetic. She wakes up with so much energy right from the start and is happy-go-lucky the rest of the day almost every minute of every day.

Y: Yearns to do what is right. She really tries to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She helps me all the time when she is home, many times without being asked. She loves to help others too. She always wants to donate her money to "Pennies of the Inch" - a church program that gives donated money to needy kids. Her favorite Article of Faith is the 13th and she has those traits spoke about in it. She is very ready for her baptism on Saturday and will make a wonderful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Her birthday was on a school day. Her brothers gave her a messenger bag for their present to her that morning. She has wanted one for awhile and was very happy.

Kev made her the "A" pancake and I always let the kids pick a sugar cereal to have that one time of year. She chose cocoa puffs.

When she got home we gave her the presents from us. The main one was this kitty with a hair salon and carrier. She was very thankful!

I love how she was petting it like a real kitten!

That night after the viewing she had her cake. (One is hers, one is a gluten-free one for Kev and the cupcakes were for a secret service project our ward was doing.)

We always go to the fair every year. The kids love the rides, the animals, the food, and the fun. Kev and I don't mind it either! Each year our kiddos get braver with rides and next year I think one or all of them will end up on some REAL rides that make your tummy feel funny! Audrey loved the Music Express so that was encouraging!

This year their was a trick...what to get Kev to eat that was gluten-free. Alas he was satisfied with a giant turkey leg, old-fashioned lemonade and icecream!

... catch up on the other hand...not so much! Why can't I post more regularly? Oh well, all I can say is I'm going to try to be better. I missed July completely but here's some of our August fun pictures.

Me and my 3 cousins (my sisters from another mother) and some of our kids plus my other cousin's daughter too.

Swim lessons were a success for all this year...they learned so much.

Audrey can do the front and back crawl, the back float, the dead mans float, the side stroke, and loves to swim underwater and of course do gymnastics under water too.

Kyle learned how to do the front crawl, the back float, the dead mans float and was the least nervous going off the diving board out of all 3.

Kaden cried the whole time the first day (it was his first year) but ended up being the most improved. By the end he was doing everything with the teachers that he was supposed to do.

When we went to pick up Ky from Kindergarten, Kade couldn't resist making some art with a stick and some water.

I finally got a shot of Ky after he was done with the 1st day of Kindergarten.

(Before he went into his class, he got nervous and wouldn't leave my side until I helped him sit in his seat...then I snapped a shot but the memory card was full - I wasn't about to try and take the time to delete a picture and take another one because I figured I had better get out while he wasn't following me!)

He was to shy to say he wanted a picture with his teacher...so when I asked do you want one with Mrs. Zaladonos he just pointed to her and that was taken as a "yes."

Ky wanted to bring his blankie on the 2nd day (it's pretty special to him) but I told him that he's not supposed to bring things from home unless it's show and tell. So he opted for a picture with it instead!

I was able to get a picture on the 2nd day...with his Best Buddy Enoch!

On the 3rd day of school I let Kaden play outside almost the whole time Kyle was gone. I talked to Kev's cute Grandma Hansen for an hour and cleaned/organized the garage for another hour.

One of his favorite games that day was pushing his babies (balls) in the stroller! :)

When I went to pick up Kyle on the 3rd day I finally remembered to bring the chalk so he could draw a heart by his teacher's name. The 1st day he saw some other teacher's names with hearts by them and didn't want his teacher to go without because "he loves her." Notice how the heart took over the "Z" so I had to write a new one. ;)

And on the 4th day they finally allowed Kindergartners to ride the bus...here we have Kyle with a friend in his class and his sister, Audrey.

When the bus came Ky froze and would not move. So, I went on the bus and asked Audrey to come out and walk with him up the stairs and sit with him. She came and got him and worked her sister magic...whew - WHAT A CLOSE CALL!!!

When he turned and smiled at me I knew I was all clear...thank goodness!

And then the bus pulled away with him on it!

I requested a.m. Kindergarten for 2 reasons -

1.) the teacher I was requesting only teaches a.m. and

2.) I knew he would need his sister to help him get on the bus!

A Day at the Aquatic Center

On Friday, July 3rd Kevin had a day off. We ventured out to "The Beach" (Rigby Lake) but there was a BIG thunder and lightning storm. So off to the Aquatic Center we went instead - with a great view from the van of the beautiful lightning. We had a free summer pass the kids earned from the Summer Reading Program at the Library. Not bad, all we had to pay was $3 for 3 life jackets.

Audrey was swimming a lot on her own. She is getting good! She loves to do underwater tea parties and of course, like mother like daughter, lots of flips! I love her back float. And, she finally went down the slide for the first time.

Kyle was going crazy in the water as usual. He really loves it too. He was brave enough to go down the slide also and that shocked me. Audrey and he went down it 10 times. The last time he went down it, he twisted his body so he landed in the water facing the slide. He called it his "trick" and I was impressed!

Kaden was having fun on the stairs as usual. He wanted to take swimming lessons so bad last year (he was too young and was ticked when the other two got in and tried to jump in himself) but he wouldn't really let me do anything with him in the water. I am going to sign him up for lessons and see if he'll get a little more comfortable. He does blow some mad bubbles, though!

It turned out to be a good time for all!

Birthdays - Kaden, Sage and Melanie

Kaden's three - June 15th, 2009!

We woke Kaden up before Kev left for work so it was early for summer (and for how late we got to bed.) He was a trooper and was happy to be sung to and to see his present!

O.k he was more than happy, he was thrilled!

He got to ride it to breakfast. (That's the last time it was in the house.)

The other two kids like pancakes and french toast the best like dad. Not Kaden, his favorite breakfast is eggs, potatoes and cheese!

So his b-day breakfast was different than what the other kids usually get!

I love how he always has a different expression for every minute! He's so fun to watch!

Later that day we went outside to play and he showed us some interesting moves on the scooter!

He learned this one from Audrey!

That night Pops and Grandma Anderson took us all to Olive Garden to celebrate! (Kaden's such a ham!)

These guys are two of a kind! They are so alike in SO many ways!

Kaden's no shy guy, he loved being sung to!

He's thinking, "Don't stop anytime soon, ladies!"

Being the rebel my mom is (if you know her, you know I'm kidding) she brought homemade cupcakes into Olive Garden and broke them out after we finished dinner! They did not disappoint!

Kaden I want you to know that you are such a special blessing in your family's life!

You are one of the happiest, cutest, funniest, joyful kid's we've ever known - and always have been this way, even when you were a baby! You are very talented at singing, dancing and acting like your siblings but you also have always been very strong in sports. One of you first words was "Ball" and you love playing any game with balls. You are very good at Basketball, Baseball and Soccer! Kaden you are so easy going and are pretty much happy and having fun unless you're really hungry or tired. You are so funny, here are just a few funny things you've said or done lately:

1.) For the last year since you've had a full vocabulary (oh ya, you're an advanced talker like your sister was and boy do you like to talk it up) when you're talking about something you think is serious or important for us to hear (almost everything) you squint your right eye and the top of the right side of your mouth goes up!

2.) When you play hide and seek, after you count to 10 you say "Here I go not, here I come!"

3.) When you see pictures of you as a baby you call yourself a "Born baby."

4.) Since mom, dad and Audrey have been doing the play "Joseph" and singing it a lot you've been singing the songs around the house. Your version of "You and your dreamcoat ahead of your time" is "You and your dream, gonna have a good time!"

5.) When you see pictures of mom with you in my tummy you say "That's me before you and dad fixed me with tape - you put my head on, then my arm, then my leg..."

6.) I could go on and on but the last thing I want to put here is that you've always been very thankful. From the time you were one year old you would say "thank you" about anything and everything you were given or that was done for you. That's stuck with you. When your dad was building our new house, everytime you would come to see it you would say "Thank you for the kitchen or thank you for the living room, etc." When he painted your room blue and you saw if for the first time you were so excited and said "Oh, thank you daddy, thank you for my blue room" over and over again. To this day your room is "My Blue Room."

7.) I want to add one more thing - you are a "Love and Logic" kid. We started our classes and reading the books when you were a baby so you've grown up with L&L. Wow you really get it most of the time - it's so great! But, the reason I wanted to mention this is because whenever I go to get you out of alone time and I kneel down to get down to your level to have our talk about what you did wrong you always kneel down too! It's so funny, I always have to tell you to stand up so I can see your eyes!!!

My nephew, Sage is 6!!!

Where does the time go? Weren't you and Kyle babies (wearing homemade sweaters from your mom) yesterday?!

I remember when you came up for Easter the year you turned two. Audrey was so excited to see you!

And when you and Kyle got together I thought - it's a mini Greg and Eric! (You looking like your dad and Kyle looking like Uncle Greg.)

Then there was the time you and your family came up when Kaden was born. You and Kyle had fun in the hospital room playing hide and seek!

Sage you are turning out to be such a little man. I can't believe how smart, sweet, funny, handsome and talented you are (at singing and at the violin, etc.!) You are a fun guy and my kids love playing with you! It was so fun sharing your b-day with you when you were up here for the reunion! Love ya!

QUESTION!

Hi! I have a herniated disc (L5) in my lower back/lumbar area but am getting better. (That's what I get for trying to get all unpacked right away and lifting tons of boxed I shouldn't have!) The chiropracter I'm going to is doing stem/heat, adjustments and a decompression table (it's crazy - it actually stretches my spine with weight!) He has me due to be 50% better by the end of July and 100% by the end of August! (That's great considering when it happened I couldn't walk without help and it was more painful than any contraction I've ever felt from all 3 babies!)

SO, NOW FOR MY QUESTION...

Could someone tell me why all the pictures I'm uploading (I've been trying to do a b-day post for Kaden for a week) will not go to the center when I press on the center button. They upload on the right side (I've never had that happen before) and then I click on them, then the center button - and they still stay on the right! I've tried everything!!!Argggggggggg!!!!!

Besides finishing up our house so we could move, MOVING, trying to unpack and settle in, and getting ready for a Garage Sale, we have been doing tons of other things...

Audrey had her Dance Recital!

Here she is in her jazz costume for the dance Kung Fu. It was to a song of a mix from the movie Kung Fu Panda and the song Kung Fu Fighting!

It was one of the best choreographed dances I've ever seen. The judges at all of the competitions thought so too. They won almost every award they could at all of them!

I had another dance mom ask me if Audrey wore fake eyelashes! (Nope that's just Mary Kay mascara mixed with her long, thick and fairly dark eyelashes she has.)

Made this for Teacher Appreciation Day and helped with the luncheon and gifts. They deserve it - I know because I was at the school every week and they're great...especially the Principal!!!

My mom's piano and vocal solo made my dad cry - so sweet!

Kaden did a solo on the recorder! Also, not pictured were my vocal solo and Liza' piano solo.

(Too bad Ky was too shy to sing the song he'd been practicing for weeks. He has an amazing voice and knows all the words to any song he's ever learned but he is shy and slow to warm up and hadn't seen my brother's and their fams for quite sometime.)

It was Sage's 6th birthday and he had an Indiana Jones cake!

It was so fun getting to know Davis - he's got a great personality!

Kyle was warming up towards the end of the second day and was interested in Davis too!

Memorial Day Barbecue with the Myers (more new friends in the ward and neighborhood) at our new place!

She was awesome and a lot of parents told me she was very talented! She also told me a lot of her friends and teachers told her she did great. The best thing she told me was that her teacher and the sign language interpreter for the deaf child in her class both said that they almost cried during it. The interpreter said he was very touched when a lot of the audience started doing the signs along with her! That almost brought tears to my eyes when she mentioned it to me!

One mother told me "That girl can sing!" after she was done!

(It was team day at school that day - hence the hat.)

Oh and I have to mention I was very proud of her before they got the right spot on the tape (I had it cued but they rewound it by accident) and kept playing the wrong songs. She just kept laughing and was a trooper at not being embarrassed about it - in front of the whole school!

Kyle had his Preschool Graduation!

That was the only time he had his hat on - 1 second while I sneaked this shot before we left. (There was another kid that wouldn't put their hat on and one little girl that kept asking her mom if she could take hers off every 10 minutes during the program!)

He didn't want to get up with the kids in front for the program but I was patient and helped him up there and after a bit of coaxing (we were there a half hour early thank goodness) he actually stayed there and let me sit down!

I was so proud of him for just being there with the other kids the whole time in front of the 75 people watching!!! There was one other shy boy who never got up until the end just to get his diploma. I couldn't believe Ky did more than that - HE HAS COME SO FAR!

I think Ms. Krista is the best and can't imagine anyone else being able to help Ky this year with opening up and being able to overcome some anxieties!

He knew every song, practiced them every day and never missed a word or note. Although he hardly shared that during the program I was so stinking proud of him just for getting up and trying!

BTW, Ms. Krista told everyone what the kids had said they want to be when they grow up and Ky said: A Cake Baker, A Firefighter, A Dentist, and A Veterinarian.

Afterwards Kev's mom wanted to take us to Perkins for dinner - she takes us after every recital Audrey has and you should of seen Ky's face knowing we were celebrating someting HE did!

Then we went to Subzero icecream because I had told him earlier that day we could go there if he at least got up in front at all for the program! HE WAS STOKED!

Hansen's Vacation 2009 - Disneyland Day 3 - The End

This Astro Orbitor in Tommorowland was one of Kaden's favorite rides.

So fun and no line during our "Magic Morning."

Then we were off to Pixie Hollow. Audrey made a friend in line named Mia (from Canada) and they exchanged addresses. They are going to be Pen Pals.

Kaden found a bug when the kids were getting their picture with Fawn and she was telling him not to worry, it was just one of her friends.

He freaked out and left the scene which made her crack up!

She was really cool and decided that Audrey is an "Animal Talent" like herself because Audrey was telling her how much she loves animals.

Kaden didn't feel like posing with her but he did give her five.

The train was pretty cool. It takes you around the park but also has a bunch of pretend - yet realistic looking scenes to ride by in tunnels along the way (Dinosaurs, Cowboys and Indians, etc.)

Kev and I found it relaxing and the kids were being goofy as ever at first. (BTW, we shared our ride with Melissa Joan Hart and her kids!)

After that we were glad to see Goofy again!

Then it was off to Minnie's House. Kaden didn't hold back with her!

He had to give her a big kiss on her nose!

After that, Kaden fell fast asleep. This is when we saw Melissa Joan Hart again in a store we were in! (I used to love "Sabrina the Teenwitch" and thought her new ABC familly movie "My Fake Fiance" was really cute!)

Kade could not wake up for Pooh or any of his friends. At least we got this picture to show him!

Next Kaden barely woke up and and it was Kyle's turn for a nap. (No one fell asleep any of the other days but the boys were pooped enough the last day.)

Here was Audrey's favorite moment! Ariel said they were long lost sisters because Audrey told her she also liked to sing and swim! (I'll never forget, this gorgeous young lady said to Audrey that her and her mom were beautiful!)

Kaden couldn't help but give her a big hug too. (Kyle was still asleep.)

Cinderella was so funny. She loved how calm we were with her and commented on it - she mentioned that a lot of the other families were treating her like a piece of meat. Also, when she was leaving she turned to Kyle and said "See ya, handsome, call me when you're 16!"

Snow White was just like her character in the movies. She even had the REALLY high voice!

When Belle signed her name she drew a picture of the rose and said "I always draw this rose because if it weren't for it, I never would have met my Prince."

Jasmine was so nice - we loved her! Ky warmed up to her right away, obviously!

Kaden decided he could hug her like he did Ariel.

The kids gave Jasmine some artwork and she asked Audrey if when she was older she could buy her paintings and adorn her castle with them.

Kaden couldn't say goodbye without one more hug.

The kids had some artwork for Ariel and they were told they could give her them on the way out. She was so sweet and really appreciated the gifts.

How cute is that?! (I'm thinking this is a "different" Ariel than the first one...)

Kyle had made this poem out of pictures on the crown for her and I can't believe he was brave enough to recite it for her! You can hear how nervous he was in the video. I'm so proud of him for doing it even though it was probably scary for him! (I can just see it now - when the boys are grown up - Kade will be the outgoing one who is funny and showy and then there will be our Ky, the shy, sensitive poet!)

Needless to say, she loved it! We were told by her and all of the workers and photographers there that we were a beautiful family and we were welcome back anytime!

Kevin was the driver in that car with Audrey and I the driver with the boys. (All 3 of the kids tried steering on their own at first and it was, well, interesting!)

The Pooh Bear ride was so fun. We rode it twice in a row!

This is how Kaden reacted and I might have looked the same way, I have to admit. (I have always loved Whinnie the Pooh since I can remember)

Pirates of the Carribean was so entertaining!

The Tarzan Treehouse was it for us!

We were sad to go but it was the perfect vacation filled with one of a kind memories!

Hansen Family Vacation 2009 - Part 3

Day 1 and 2 of Disneyland/California Adventure

First day, first thing when we walked in we saw Goofy!!!

Then it was off to the Buzz ride - Kyle wanted to ride that first

(for months before we went he dreamed of it.)

He was excited his dream was coming true.

It lived up to his wildest expectations too!

Audrey enjoyed it too (so did Mom and Dad but Kaden wasn't sure about Zurg in person at first.)

Right when we got off the ride...there was Buzz! It was perfect!! (My boys had gotten REALLY into Toy Story a few months before we went on the trip.)

Dumbo seemed like a good second ride.

Then we were off to the Teacups and I love this shot I got of the ride through Kev's sunglasses!

Peter Pan's Flight was a little too spooky for Kaden (he took a bit to warm up to all the rides) so he just covered his eyes quietly - so cute!

It's A Small World was perfect for us all.

It's newly refurbished and now has Ariel - Audrey's favorite Princess!

After that we hopped from Disneyland to California Adventure and watched the Pixar Parade. Kaden danced to the Bolt music "I Thought I Lost You" they had before it started.

He was so adorable and he had a lot of people watching him.

Seeing Jack Jack was awesome - the kids watched The Incredible's Bonus Feature "Jack Jack Attack" at least half a dozen times on the drive to CA!

Day two started out at California Adventure at the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show.

The boys were ENAMORED - they watch these shows almost every day and to see them come to life - wow!

We ended the night in A Bug's World riding lots of kiddie rides.

All of us got to ride the Bumper Cars except Kaden. (Not even with an adult - that's why he was so happy to ride them at Ky's b-day party.)

Ky Guy is Five

Kev and I collaborated on these. I love how they turned out!

When we asked Kyle if he wanted a friend b-day party this year at first he said "Ya - with Sage and Mike." Those are his cousins and one lives in UT. So, I helped him think of some friends to come along with Mike. (Last year we asked him if he wanted a friend party and he didn't.)

We had it at Gameworld and it was perfect for him. He loves to play on the computer and the week we had the Wii for free was so fun for him. So, video games everywhere plus bumper cars and a play place equaled heaven for him!

(We let all the kids ride the bumper cars once, get a bracelet to play in the play place and they got to pick 2 games to play.)

Kaden was too small to ride the bumper cars at Disneyland - even with and adult! So getting to ride them that day was so exciting for him!

They were a hit for everyone and it was great to see Kyle having so much fun on them.

Cousin Mike was big enough to ride alone but chose to ride with his Uncle Kevin. He had so much fun and was adorable to watch!

It was so wonderful to see Ky with friends! He's so shy naturally so it's great to see him interacting with his peers - he really enjoyed the party!

After the party we stayed awhile longer to use up the tokens. Audrey made a friend in the play place and stayed there almost the whole time.

Audrey is not into video games. (Even when we had the Wii she only liked bowling and making the "Mii.") She tried one and wasn't into it. She did ride the train, though!

One happy boy. It was such a great day!

The day before the party Cafe Rio opened. It's right next to Gameworld! When we came out we asked Ky if he wanted to eat at the new restaurant for his b-day dinner and he said "YES!" We all enjoyed it. We saw 4 people we knew, everyone was excited to go there!

Here's Kyle on his real b-day - April 28th!

He had Kev put his Spiderman tatoo on his HEAD! Spiderman's doing the I love you sign.

That night Grandpa and Grandma Anderson were home from their trip and since they missed the party they took us to Red Robin for Ky's birthday.

BTW, Is it bad that I like Red Robin better than Cafe Rio which is supposed to be "The Best?!" (Maybe it's because I like Mexican better if I cook it myself?)

It was a fun night!

BTW, we got Ky a few things but his party was his main gift. We did get him a Lego set and Kaden dumped them out and spread them out btw. two rooms and a hall today...all 500 pieces. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Kyle you are a wonderful 5 year old.

5 reasons I love you...out of 5,000

1.) You are so nice to me. You say nice things to me like "Mom, you're beautiful" (at least once a day.) You do chores for me (sometimes without being asked.) You help me with Kaden (lately with his potty training.) And you need me more than anyone else in this world (it seems like.) Sometimes it's hard when I want to drop you off at a class and you need me, and although I'll never show it because I want you to be confidant, deep down it makes me feel good that you love me so much that you want me around.

2.) You are such a smart little boy. You are still very very good with numbers. And now you can read! You are a natural with computers and are already better at some things on them than me! You are very good at remembering songs, stories, poems, etc. You are going to do great in Kindergarten this fall.

3.) You are very talented at singing, dancing, gymnastics, althetics (you finally get to start soccer next month) and you are very close to learning how to swim on your own! Also, you have a passion for art and cooking/baking!

4.) You are so stinking handsome sometimes I can't believe it. You look a lot like Uncle Greg and yet, I'm realizing that the person you look the most like is actually your Grandma Bonnie! You have her shape of face, her hair color, her big beautiful lips, smile and teeth and her eye shape (with my green eyes instead of her blue ones!) We are going to be in trouble - oh wait we already are...in Disneyland, Cinderella herself told you to call her when you're 16!

5.) You try to choose the right. You are so happy when you are sweet and kind and try to do good things. You just glow when you are doing the best you can do. Your huge smile radiates love. You are naturally affectionate and can give the best hugs and kisses.

Sea World was amazing! All three kids have always loved any and all animals. We did it in a day, yet we saw and participated in everything we wanted to. I would highly recommend it!

Hansen's Easter 2009

It was a wonderful Easter day. Full of wonderful things. The kids were so excited and cute about what the Easter Bunny brought. The testimonies in Sacrament Meeting were wonderful. The closing song that I and the choir sang: "Because of Him" was very meaningful and touched my heart deeply - more so than in practices before. The classes had wonderful lessons and messages (even though I had to hang out with Ky during all of Primary sharing time before he would let me go.) And being with Kev's family tonight for dinner and an egg hunt was great.

Audrey (Audge is her newest nickname) loves getting her picture taken - It's fun to have one that does!
